Thomas Friedberger, Tikehau's deputy CEO, said private wealth investors are seeking diversified sources of income and that ELTIF 2.0 structures can broaden their access to private market strategies. Jocelyn Pidoux, head of asset manager solutions for EMEA at iCapital, said wealth managers are looking for more effective ways to incorporate private credit into client portfolios.
The marketplace connects wealth managers, private banks, independent financial advisors and family offices with private market funds and handles subscriptions, investor onboarding, servicing and advisor education. Tikehau launched a customised platform on iCapital technology in 2022 with two products: the second vintage of an impact-focused real estate value-add strategy and the third vintage of a special opportunities credit strategy. At the time, Tikehau said its funds would also be available through Allfunds, a distribution network that partnered with iCapital in June 2021. Tikehau managed €53.5 billion ($60 billion) as of June 30.
